Pick Your Purse Contest Spring 2010 1. WHO MAY PLAY Must be at least 21 years of age or over. Legal government issued photo ID required. Contest open only to legal Oklahoma residents except employees of Cox Enterprises, Inc. and it’s partially and fully owned subsidiaries and participating sponsor(s) and the immediate families of those employees. The term “immediate family members” includes spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren. No other local radio company employees may play. A person may only win once during this contest and only one winner per household. No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. All federal, local and municipal laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited. 2. CONDITIONS OF WINNING Official rules are available at the Mix96 (KRAV) studio at 7136 South Yale, Suite 500, from 8:30am-5:30pm (CST) Monday through Friday. By entering the contest, contestants give permission for their name, photo and/or voice to be used for promotional purposes without compensation. Winners must sign promotional release form as condition of receiving prize. All Winners must sign a W-9 and are responsible for all taxes. Prizes must be claimed in person, by the actual winner, at the Mix96 (KRAV) business office within 30 business days or be forfeited. A person may play the Pick Your Purse Contest if they have won a contest with Mix 96 in the previous 30 days. Pick Your Purse/Golden Ticket prize winners, or anyone in the same household, may only qualify once for the contest. Additionally, “Pick Your Purse/Golden Ticket” winners, or anyone in their household are not eligible to win any other contest on Mix96 (KRAV) for 30 days. Mix96 (KRAV) will not be responsible for loss of service to the call-in line or for a contestant’s failure to reach the call-in line due to malfunction of any network or system, congestion, overload, busy signals, or any other factor that may prevent an individual from completing his/her phone call. In the event of interruption of power or telephone service to Mix96 (KRAV) during a call-in period of 9:00am to 5pm “The Mix 96 “Pick Your Purse/Golden Ticket” and prior to accepting the winning caller, the call-in period affected by the interruption may or may not be replayed at the resumption of service, at Mix 96’s sole discretion. The use of automatic telephone dialing equipment or other software or computer assisted dialing equipment is prohibited and will result in disqualification. We are not responsible for listening via web streaming as it may be time delayed due to computer buffering and internet speeds. 3. CONSTRUCTION The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein. 4. SPONSOR The “Pick Your Purse/Golden Ticket” contest is sponsored by Mix96 (KRAV d.b.a. Cox Radio, Inc.). The decisions of Mix96 (KRAV) regarding the selection of winners, the interpretation of these Official Rules and all other aspects of The “Pick Your Purse/Golden Ticket Contest” shall be final and binding in all respects. Mix96 (KRAV) will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other materials relating to “Pick Your Purse Contest”. METHOD OF ENTRY FOR PRIZE Beginning May 3rd, 2010 and lasting through June 11th 2010 Mix 96 (KRAV) will encourage the audience to listen each weekday morning at approximately 7:30am(C.S.T.) as Mix 96 (KRAV) will announce the designated “Song of the Day”. When the designated song is played back between 9am and 5pm that same day, listeners will need to call (918) 460-9696. The ninth caller will be chosen as the daily winner of the “Pick Your Purse Contest”; provided that he/she is eligible to participate in the contest. The song may play one additional time on any given day during the contest period. The ninth caller will be chosen as the bonus winner of the “Pick Your Purse Contest”; provided that he/she is eligible to participate in the contest. Daily winners will receive a “Golden Ticket”, enabling them and a guest to attend the ‘Pick Your Purse” wrap party on Monday, June 14th, 2010. Location of the party will be relayed to the winner well in advance of Pick Your Purse Party. Purses will only be distributed at the “Pick Your Purse” Party. The date of the party is subject to change. 6. PICK YOUR PURSE WRAP PARTY On Monday, June 14th, 2010, Mix 96 (KRAV) will host the “Pick Your Purse” wrap party. Location and other important details will be relayed to the winner well in advance of the Pick Your Purse Party. All qualifiers must present a photo ID at check-in starting at 6pm, and no later than 6:30pm at location to be determined. Winners and (1) one guest will be admitted to the “Pick Your Purse” party. Purse prizes will be distributed at the party, based on random drawing starting at 7pm. Additional door prizes may be distributed. Mix 96 reserves the right to alter/cancel the contest execution at any time. All purses must be claimed at party. 7. OTHER SPECIFICATIONS Winners may waive their right to receive prizes. Prizes are non-assignable and non-transferable. No substitutions allowed by winner. Prizes and individual components of prize packages are subject to availability and Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value.
