Dena was only 17 when she first began spinning tunes for KBAT Radio in Midland, Texas.

A native of Odessa, Texas, Dena graduated from Texas Tech University with, believe it or not, a degree in history (she specializes in 20th Century European history, thank you very much).

Though she has an interest in teaching, Dena stuck with her love of broadcasting and eventually made her way to Tulsa.
