I met an older woman at the gym, 40, single, no kids. I'm 27. I ended up getting a job at the same company she works for, but she is a higher up, 6 figure lady and now we're hanging out quite a bit. We both know I'm with this company temporarily as a stepping stone, but not sure if I should ask her out. She'll stop by my desk and say things like hope to see you later in cycle class. I would be fine with any type of relationship with this woman, whether it be intimate or just as friends, because she's one of the coolest (and most beautiful) women I've ever met.

I'm on my 3rd date with this girl. At the restaurant, she said her steak had too much fat. When our waitress came to the table, she demanded to talk to the manager. The manager was nice and tried to accomodate her with a free meal and the girl said stuff like, "I'm so over it" and she was very rude to the manager. I was so embarassed and can't help but think she may be really picky about a lot of things.

Met my guy about a month ago and have spent every weekend together until this. My stepfather just died and I asked my boyfriend to go with me to the funeral. He said no, he can't stand funerals, especially people he doesn't know, and it's a really long drive. I'm really disappointed and wondering if he can't support me now in something like this, how's it going to be when we're serious.

I'm in a bit of a pickle, I just came to that point in my life where I'm responsible for my elderly dad and I've been on and off with a great guy for several years. His job is transferring him to Texaas and he asked me to go with him, before I had these family issues. If I abandon my dad I'll never forgive myself and possibly resent him for it. So...what would you do?

I've never been married and no kids. I've been dating a guy for 2 years who wants to get more serious. He is a widower with 3 kids 10-16. We've talked about them moving into my house since it's big enough, but I'm concerned cause his kids are wild! They run around, breaking things, aren't accountable for their actions and since he doesn't really discipline them I have a feeling I would end up with that job and that's probably not a good role for me to take? I know this sounds harsh, but I'm just trying to think about what's best for the children.

Dear Dave and Nina,
I'm single and looked up an old girlfriend of mine, which I haven't talked to in 10 years. Luckily, I found her on MySpace. I wanted to see if we still had any chemistry. I emailed her and now we're talking nearly everyday. When I called, I got good news and bad news. The good news is she's single, and the bad news is she's 5 month pregnant. Dump or Date her?

I met my bf a few months ago and it's been great. We are different races and we have to get his mother's approval to get married. He knows she won't approve of me (his younger brother just went through this) and feels as the eldest he has to do the right thing for his family. He has a couple of years to go before he decides whether to go back to Iraq and marry his mother's choice or stay here and work.
I've been dating this guy I met online for a few weeks adn we have great chemistry. Last night, we were at his house and he showed me his basement. Turns out, he likes these science fiction board games and has a whole room full of miniature game pieces, like dragons that he built and painted himself.
I'm getting married soon. He is sensitive, attentive, handsome and financially stable. But he's a MAMA'S BOY! His mom brings him meals every day, calls him twice a day and he has a picture of mom on his nightstand. I'm starting to freak out...
I'm a single mom and just started dating again. I have a really good time with this guy I've been seeing for a couple months and am very attracted to him, but we haven't taken it to the next level yet. He tries and I want to, but I told him we need to be exclusive if we take it to the next level.

My boyfriend and I have a rule that he can't have girlfriends. We've been dating 7 months and at first, I noticed his "friends" always crossed the line. Once when he was out with them, one of them kissed him. Another time one tried to get him to go skinny dipping and yet another one has him come over to fix things around her house all the time. When we talked about it, he admitted that they were friends with benefits before me. So now, he has a new girl "Friend" he met during the snow storm. She got stranded and he helped her out. She texts him alot, asking him to go to lunch so she can thank him, or tries to get us all together. When I asked him to stop texting her, he said she was truly just a friend.
