4. Step 4...Pull the hair straight out from your head.Continue to squeeze it between your second and middle fingers to keep strands from falling out.
5. Step 5...Lay the hair tattoo on top of the section of hair.Use your other hand to do this so that you do not release your separated section. The shiny, colored side of the hair tattoo should be facing up.
6. Step 6...Make sure the plates on your flat iron are larger in area than your hair tattoo. Close the flat iron around the section of hair and the hair tattoo for a count of 20. Count steadily and do not move the flat iron or your hair during this time. If you do, the tattoo will smear and create a sticky mess instead of a beautiful decoration.
